ENTIRE WORLD IS MY IMAGINATION AND FRAGILE AS A PIECE OF GLASS

There was a surplus,

It didn’t last.

Odds were against us,

We took a blast.

It wasn’t fair.

Who said it should?

We didn’t care,

As no one would.

It wasn’t clear

What did go wrong.

We didn’t veer,

Just carried on.

In never traded

What cherished once.

The thread was braided,

Thin was the chance.

Regret did nothing,

As truly meant.

And did not farthing

Save silver cent.

  1. A poignant reflection on loss, resilience, and the limits of regret, with a strikingly rhythmic and restrained voice.
Eltchin, you managed to make us feel sad. Bravo!
